For the advocacy group, Canadian Parents for French, we assisted with a Best Practices guide aimed at province-wide chapter groups. We also created a membership brochure.
Cutting Room Floor! Sometimes ideas remain ideas, although most of ours graduate. Here are some concepts presented to various clients:
DYMO DiscPainter Ad Concepts
As the perfect target customer because we press and label CDs/DVDs for clients, we knew how many times we had shamefully handwritten on a disc because it took too long to create a nice label, or we had taken the precious time, only to ever-so-slightly miss in adhering that lovely label. We have a lot of coasters because of this.
For Oregon Scientific we created ad concepts for their StyleFi line (above). We know the consumer electronics business well and we know there is some ugly stuff out there as well as some stuff developed by people pretty much out of touch with a younger generation of music lovers. We also created packaging concepts and display graphics for the iBall from Oregon Scientific (below). The iBall was a little wireless speaker and dock for the iPod. I say “was” because it is no longer being built, which is too bad. It sounds pretty good, but beyond that, it is immensely convenient. We still have one and use it regularly – especially in the summer when we can just grab it and take it to the patio. Oh well. Some things just don’t work out.
